About KINSHAZZAVILLE MEDIA
The History: Kinshazzaville Media was created in the autumn of 2016, although its founder, Ola Fredholm, has been working in the TV and film industry since the end of the 90’s. Ola has been working on countless productions, mainly as Director of photography and Cameraman; he has a great eye for both the frame and the story. Since 2012, he has been producing content together with different partners under names such as Loyal Palace and Made In Here.
The Name: Kinshazzaville is inspired from the jungles of Congo and the humid city of Kinshasa, where OIa’s parents met for the first time in the 70’s. His father worked as a cargo pilot who flew to jungle destinations, and his mother was a Red Cross nurse who specialized in tropical medicine. Their various adventures, including being targets for hostile fire mid-flight, battling weird diseases hardly known to mankind and learning how to outrun a furious rhino, have paved the way for Ola’s love for a good story. This love is always at the center of all of Kinshazzaville’s productions.
